  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth low sodium
  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp xanthan gum optional
  • 4 tsp chopped thyme divided
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • A pinch of paprika
  • Chopped fresh parsley and thyme to serve
