The team at MasterCook is continuously working to better our software for our customers. Due to a recent increase in use, you may have experienced some technical difficulties while trying to access your MasterCook account. This is because of the increased workload to the database server. As a resolution to this problem, our team is operating to reduce the workload on the database server by moving image data from the database into a file structure. When calls are made to the database for images, this impacts the performance of the database server and, as a result, can block (timeout) other calls when the site is under heavy load. Due to the large amount of image data currently stored in the database, we expect this process to take about 2 weeks. The complete conversion of images to files should be completed by mid-May.
